There are pages in the newspaper that I don't read one letter of. Because it goes way over my head, or doesn't interest me at all.
The only thing that keeps me on the economy-pages, are the illustrations by Dutch illustrator Peter van Hugten (1949)
He has developed a chrystalclear style, in gouache I think, that works very well in newspaper print.
And he can make the driest of topics look juicy. Good work.
