Dick Bruna has passed away.
In 1997 illustrators also living in Utrecht payed hommage to their friendly fellow townsman and colleague to celebrate his 70st birthday.

I pictured Bruna on his bike, as I often encountered him in those days when I still had my studio in the city centre.
