Monday hero: Pyke Koch

In the past week I visited the Pyke Koch exhibition at the Centraal Museum here in Utrecht.

Koch (1901-1991) lived and worked here in Utrecht.

I am not really a great fan of his work, I find it rather severe, and I don't on the whole like this type of 'hyper'- or 'magical' realism.

But there were some works that I liked, for instance the seasons above, and then especially Winter, and the sportsscenes, maybe because they are snow scenes too.
