If you are my age, you must have lived under a stone if you don't know the work of the American artist Mary Blair (1911-1978), if only through her work for Disney studio's.
There she worked on films like for instance Peter Pan and Cinderella, and she also designed murals for a pavilion in Disneyland.
Her work is now right on (retro-)trend, but it is ofcourse also just very very good.
I particulary like her use of color.
