I am intrigued by the work of British illustrator Claire Fletcher. At first glance her illustrations seem to come from old books, or the kind of images we pasted into friendship albums here in the Netherlands when I was little.
But Fletcher is about my age, and lives and works in Hastings.
Her work fits in perfectly with the most wonderful time of the year!
