Monday hero: Max Peiffer Watenphul

Max Peiffer Watenphul (1896-1976) was a German artist who painted a lot of his work in Italy.

Many of his works are arcadian landscapes.

Now that travel, certainly to Italy, is out of the question for the time being, I indulge in his hills, buidings, nice round pines and pencil-thin cypress trees.
